In short: we collect the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form and the decision cost calculator form, technical browsing data (such as your IP address) and cookies: the technical ones required for site operation and, only with your consent, analytics cookies. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not profile visitors for advertising. You can always request access, modification or deletion of your data by writing to privacy@tal4biz.com.

We no longer collect your date of birth. Dates of birth collected until September 26, 2026 remain only in the database backups until these expire: 35 days for point-in-time restore and up to 12 months for long-term backups.
These data do not pass through the tal4biz.com website and are processed on the infrastructure indicated in section 6.
The IT systems and software used to operate the site collect, during normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. These data are not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by their nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow identification. This includes IP addresses, access times, browser used.

The choice you make in the cookie banner is sent to the site's server, which records it as proof of consent together with your truncated IP address (last group of digits set to zero), the page language and the date and time. The site's links to the Tal4Biz platform add the page language to the address and, once you have chosen, your choice as well.

When you access the Tal4Biz platform, we record how you use it: successful logins and failed attempts, logouts (including for inactivity or for access from another device), pages visited and time spent on them, buttons and links selected, progress in filling in questionnaires, reports consulted and up to which page, exports to PDF, PowerPoint and ZIP archive and their outcome, and any technical errors. For each session we also record the IP address and the type of device (for example “computer, Windows, Chrome”).
We do not record passwords, the text you type into fields, the answers you give to questionnaires or their content, the content and scores of reports, keystrokes or mouse movements.
The log is linked to your account. If you enter a wrong email address when logging in, only the IP address and the time of the attempt are kept.
The platform is used by the organization that invited you, a Tal4Biz customer, through its administrators.

A single completion counts for all the open campaigns you belong to that include that questionnaire, if you complete it after joining the campaign and by the end of the deadline day (11:59 pm, Rome time).

Data collected via the contact form and the calculator form are processed for the following purposes:
Platform usage log (section 2.5): to ensure the security of the service and prevent unauthorised access and abuse, to provide technical support and fix malfunctions, and to analyse the use of the platform in aggregate form in order to improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, by writing to privacy@tal4biz.com (Art. 21 GDPR).
The log can be consulted only by Tal4Biz system administrators. It is never made available to the organization you work for or that invited you, and it is not used to assess your work performance or to make decisions about you.
Groups, campaigns, invitations and reminders (sections 2.2 and 2.6): to allow your organization to organize questionnaire campaigns and to send you invitations, deadline reminders and notices of date changes. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Reminders are sent only if you have already received the invitation and have not yet completed the campaign: 7 days and 3 days before the deadline and on the last day, at 2:00 am Rome time. If the organization changes the deadline, the new date reaches you by email 15 minutes after the last change.
Support requests (section 2.2): to answer your requests and solve the problems you report. Legal basis: performance of a request made by the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Data are processed using IT and electronic tools, with security measures adequate to ensure confidentiality and integrity. Access is limited to authorized personnel and external data processors duly appointed under Art. 28 GDPR.
The platform usage log (section 2.5) is stored in the platform database, on Microsoft Azure servers in Italy. The IP address, the device, the pages, the elements selected and the details of the events are encrypted with the same cryptographic protection used for other personal data.
The Controller uses artificial intelligence systems provided by Anthropic (Claude models) for cybersecurity and maintenance of the technical infrastructure, for preparing questionnaires and the related report templates, and for explaining in plain language the results of the more complex reports, such as team reports. The full rules are set out in the Artificial Intelligence Policy.
The artificial intelligence has no access to the data that identify users. The data that identify a person — first name, last name, email, personal and profile details, organization — are confined by architectural measures the system cannot get past: the database denies it read access to the tables containing them, and the encryption key available to it cannot decrypt them. To explain a report, the system receives answers and results separated from the identity of the respondent and has no way of linking them back to a person. The only exception is IP addresses, which may appear in the infrastructure's technical logs that the system receives for cybersecurity and maintenance.
Assessments are not made by artificial intelligence. Scores and positions are calculated by a deterministic algorithm of the Controller; the artificial intelligence explains the results without changing them and without expressing judgments of its own. Texts generated by artificial intelligence are marked as such.
The systems run on a dedicated machine with no public address, and every action they take is recorded in an archive that the systems themselves cannot modify or delete.
No decision producing legal effects or similarly significantly affecting the data subject is entrusted to automated processing, pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR. The publication of content on the platform is always subject to human approval.
Personal data will not be disclosed publicly. They are processed on our behalf and on our instructions by the providers listed below, each limited to the service indicated. All are appointed as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
The data indicated in section 2.6 are also disclosed to the organization that invited you, through its administrators, limited to what is stated in that section.
For usage statistics the site also relies on Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited: Google Analytics cookies are written only after your consent, while the script is loaded when any page opens and, before consent, sends Google only cookieless measurements. Details are in the Cookie Policy, section 4.
Platform data reside in Italy. The only data transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) are: the data sent to Anthropic for the purposes in section 4.1 (with no identifying elements, except for IP addresses that may appear in technical logs), which may be processed in the United States; the data of the forms' anti-spam check (hCaptcha), which may be processed in the United States; and the data collected by Google Analytics, which may be transferred to the United States. For these transfers the safeguards provided by the GDPR apply (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions).

To exercise these rights, write to privacy@tal4biz.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the supervisory authority of your country.
Tal4Biz S.r.l. is established in Italy: the GDPR and Italian law apply to all the data we process, whatever country they come from. If you are located in another country, that country’s data protection laws may also apply. In that case you also have the rights those laws grant you, and you exercise them at the same address, privacy@tal4biz.com. We respond without undue delay and in any case within the time limits set by the applicable law.
Platform data are stored in Italy (section 6). If you use the platform from a country outside the European Economic Area, your data are therefore transferred to Italy, to Tal4Biz S.r.l. (contact details in section 1), for the purposes and in the ways described in this policy.
This privacy policy may be modified or updated. Substantial changes will be notified on the site. We invite you to consult this page periodically.
